Machines operate the performers in ways other than their intended use, occasionally moving on their own. The performers use each object while simultaneously replicating one another’s movements. Movement is mediated through multiple bodies, extending from the interior of the body to the exterior, from machine to body, and from body to machine. Intimate relationships are sustained by inverting the sequence of movements or by accelerating their speed.
