딥페이크 영상들은 특정부분만 제네레이팅하기 때문에 특유의 부자연스러움과 미끌거림이 강조된다. 누군가에게는 리비도일 이 언캐니는 특정 방식의 몸의 변신 이기도 하다. 무빙 이미지의 프레임 수를 낮추고, 스탑모션을 다시 제네레이팅 하여, 인간의 구체적인 감정과 몸짓을 재현 할 때 생기는 언캐니를 극대화시킨다.
Deepfake videos, by generating only specific parts of an image, accentuate a characteristic unnaturalness and slippery texture. This uncanny quality—which for some may evoke a sense of libido—represents a particular mode of bodily transformation.
By reducing the frame rate of moving images and then regenerating them through stop-motion, the work maximizes the uncanny that arises when attempting to replicate specific human emotions and gestures.
