ChangYounghae works across video, performance, and installation, focusing on the structures through which violence and desire transform and distort the body.
For the artist, the body exists as an entity that is reshaped and reconfigured through technology.
Employing mediating apparatuses such ascameras, AI, and X-ray imaging, Chang examines processes that convert the body into images, fragment it, and render it objectified.
